When it comes to generating images there are tons of options, but we have found Ideogram.ai to be reliable, simple to use, and easy to iterate off of the images you like to really hone in on what you want. It does a great job with text and even a simple prompt like “A logo for the new ‘WAC3 Ai Benchmark’ it involves Ai recipes for chocolate chip cookies.” yields great results despite the vague poor prompting.
We have found Ideogram.ai is especially good at holding on to text in good ways, even background texts, so it is nice for logo generation and signage. It has definitely seen improvements over the last few months and whatever their current engine is handles requests with way less prompting and direction than it used to. Most of the background and creator avatars we use here on ataary are from ideogram, so obviously we’re a fan.
You blow through the free credits pretty quick, but we don’t use image generation all the time and can get away with a couple generations a month. If we have a special project we just pay for a month and get a bunch done, for only $8 you can generate about 1600 images, more than enough for most projects.
