Poetry & Mus(A)ic

I have some old poetry I wrote from my studies with SNHU that I thought would be fun to plug in to one of the new Ai music generators. Suno.com has really presented itself as a leader in the field and allows you to prompt the Ai and work the song into the style and vibe you are looking for. You can also have it generate lyrics for you if you don’t have your own. Here is my public library and the example prompt on this page produced this gem. Be sure to listen to Tunafish Sandwich, it is a proper EDM jam.

The pay version is required if you would like to retain the full rights to the music you generate, but the free version is great if you just want to make silly songs with friends and family. The free version lets you make about 5 iterations a day which is actually 10 songs, you get two variations for each generation.

You also have the ability to extend songs with more prompting and/or additional verses, the option to cover your own songs into more styles and variations, and reuse your and other users prompts to help find your vibe.

Surprise (An original poem by Trevor Johnson)

Stepped
on the LEGO, now you’re
Biting
your tongue, as you
Clench
your fists, trying to
Hold
yourself together, as the kids
Run
to the room, and they
Jump
to help, but you just
Scream
and finally let it out
FUCK.
