So this was a little project to try out combining aa few free tools to make a playful avatar of the new Ai DeepSeek. I used DeepSeek for the script, TTSMAKER for the audio, Audio-Joiner to merge my audio files (it will make sense in a second), and Adobe Express Animate for the video and avatar.

So to start I just chatted with DeepSeek to make a script, we went for something a bit playful, informative, and a dash of dystopian. Then I split that script into smaller paragraphs that would fit into the free character limit of TTSMAKER, picked a voice that was totally not creepy, and downloaded all the pieces. Then I used Audio-Joiner to connect all the separate audio file together into one, the only thing with Audio-Joiner is that it is meant for music so you have to make sure to turn of the “fade” that it normally does form one file to the next. Finally you get to Adobe, and you simply pick the avatar and background you want and upload the audio. Adobe takes it from here, but I will say sometimes it would generate and be missing some of the lip-sync, so be sure to watch it through, re-uploading the audio usually fixed this.

All in all this is a pretty easy process, depending on the tools you have available to you there are definitely steps you can skip, but all of these tools are free and accessible on nearly any device.
